Doulos Resources was started in 2008 by a small group of pastors hoping to render service to the local church and her leaders by providing needful resources that might otherwise be difficult develop or obtain. Over the past ten years, it has been our great privilege to work with pastors, professors, counselors, authors, and others who shared our vision for providing assistance alongside Christ’s church.
Over the past decade, Doulos Resources has been involved in the production of dozens of books and booklets, an extensive collection of free downloadable tools, and various other media. We’ve served and counseled many pastors and congregations facing times of transition. We have collaborated with seminaries and denominations in producing projects and seeing them into publication. We have offered seminars and clinics on a variety of topics. We’ve conducted research and provided our findings for the benefits of others. We’ve marveled and sought to adapt as vast changes in media led to drastic differences in how people consume it. Most of all, we have been honored to be of use to Christ and his church.
From the beginning, our team offered the services and efforts that we put into Doulos Resources on a volunteer basis. Everyone involved has also been “full-time” at something else—pastors, professors, ruling elders, stay-at-home moms, and others who viewed their work with Doulos Resources as a calling and service more than as a career.
As sometimes happens with callings, it seems that ours has come to its conclusion with Doulos Resources. Effective January 1, 2019, we are shutting down all operations and functions for Doulos Resources and its affiliated imprints and projects. We offer thanks to those who supported us through the years, as well as heartfelt gratitude to those authors and others who entrusted us with their projects for publication. It has been a privilege and an honor to serve you, and the rest of the church, for this season of ministry. May God be praised in all that he has accomplished.
